    1. Metal Braces
    2. Ceramic Braces
    3. Invisible Braces

    5. Self-Ligating Braces
    6. Lingual Braces

Let us now study them in detail.

    Metal Braces

These are the most common type of braces. In modern times, these braces have become more lightweight, smaller, and less uncomfortable. These metal braces use rubber bands, wires, and brackets to help the misaligned teeth get in shape.

    Ceramic Braces

Ceramic braces can be used to look after different types of cases. They are comparatively firmer and smoother. They are suitable for teens and adults. They are more significant than metal ones, and you must follow certain food restrictions.

    Invisible Braces

Invisible braces, a.k.a Invisalign, are preferred by most people because of their enormous advantages. You can easily remove them while eating and cleaning your teeth. Since they are invisible, they do not affect how your face looks.

    3d Printed Braces

3D-printed braces are just another level of conventional metal braces. In the case of metal ones, their shape is pre-made. But if you get 3D-printed braces, they will be customized according to your teeth, just like Invisalign.

    Self-Ligating Braces

In this procedure, there is no requirement for elastic bands. The wires in these braces can move independently, resulting in a faster recovery. You will experience less discomfort as compared to conventional metal braces.

    Lingual Braces

Lingual braces are also known as inside braces. Just like Invisalign and 3D-printed braces, these are also customized as per the positioning of your teeth. The brackets are attached to the backside of your teeth making braces look visually invisible.
